The inn is in the village of Ings, 2 miles east of Windermere, off the A591. Windermere Station is the nearest rail link, with taxis (£6) or the 555 bus to Ings. The car park is at the rear of the pub. Nearby towns include Kendal, Ambleside, and Keswick, all within easy reach.
